Heating Up In The Cold Spring : The Bukidnon Tour

 

One of the most developed spring resort in Maramag, Bukidnon is the Waig Crystal Spring Resort located at Purok 8-A, Spring Site, North Poblacion, Maramag, Bukidnon.  This 3.6 hectare resort provides its customers with a very nice landscape with its swimming pools sparkling with crystal clear cold spring waters.

My husband and I got the opportunity to visit and spend relaxation time in this place sometime in August 2009.

Upon entering Waig, not far from the entrance gate is this structure with their busy employees assisting visitors who wanted to enjoy the zipline adventure.

Just right in front of the entrance gate is this fountain landscaped with various plants and flowers.

Adjacent to the fountain are these rooms.  Opposite is the restaurant which overlooks the swimming pool below.

 Their restaurant are filled with these carved and artistically cut wooden tables and chairs.  The restobar caters cuisines that are of reasonable prices and will surely fill your cravings.

We trekked a few miles going up to view other scenery of the resort.

 

They also have a hanging bridge that extends from the restaurant to the area near its mountain-like tower (picture above).

 

The whole area include swimming pool, mini-resto, cottages, welcome stone, mini-falls among others.

 

One of the facilities in the resort is their cable cars.  When going down the pool area, one has the option to either take a walk through their stairs or ride in a cable car for a more adventurous one.

The Spiral Slides
Be more adventurous.  Enjoy and feel the rush of your adrenalin with this spiral slides and dip on the cold spring water in its pools.  There are also available pools for the kids. 

And take note that these pools are filled with chlorine-free water.  And you will not be worried if you accidentally swallowed the water because it is free-flowing coming from its natural source.
