Baby's Journey : She Turns 1!

Being first-time parents, everything seems so exciting!  This time our little Kaizle turns one and we want the celebration to be simple yet fun, memorable and personal.

 Metamorphosis....

 Reminiscing before turning 1!

Here's a sneak of the party...

The invites, tarp and loot bags.. I personally made them. I want everything to have a personal touch.  To complement the Tinkerbell-inspired theme, I decided to made magic wand invites.  This took me almost a week to finish the entire design using the PS CS4 software and another day to finish the entire product. I was very satisfied to the outcome, it was so fulfilling!

I had to gather several pictures of Kaizle for the tarp.

I decided to made heart-shaped color loot bags with Kaizle's picture and a Thank you note.  I made yellow loot bags for the girls and green ones for the boys.  The loot bags have Tinkerbell goodies and toys inside accompanied with Tinkerbell figurine as souvenirs.

I super love the tutu dress set! I bought this Tinkerbell-inspred tutu dress set through https://www.facebook.com/meahmae.estoya
Ms. Meah Mae is such a talented lady in making tutus & other baby items.  Not to mention her exceptional skills in customer service.
I first requested for a tube tutu dress, just like Tinkerbell's, but she suggested of this design which I liked more because of its baby-ish design.
Thanx Ms. Meah & until next time!

Of course, parties will not be complete without foods and most especially the cake.  Thank you Glowie's Party Needs for the cute and yummy cake!  Sorry, I wasn't able to take photos of some of the foods served.  Quite a stage mom, please understand.

DIY balloon columns, balloon decors and pomanders...
I almost scraped the skin on my fingers on making balloon decors.  But I was so satisfied with the outcome, I tend to forget about the pain.
I and my hubby made those balloon columns while the flower balloons were made by me.  Pomanders were so easy to make.
There are so many instructional videos available on the internet (for those interested and willing to learn).  Enjoy your balloon art-making!

The goodies, lootbags and souvenir items...

Our little darling...

Don't forget the children games.  Not only the babies will enjoy the games but also the parents, especially the mommies!  Again, sorry for not taking photos, I was also busy joining the games and the photographer is also busy cheering. Lol!

Thank you being a part of another milestone in Kaizle's life!

What's your baby's first birthday party?  I know it's so much fun, share it with us.
