I learned how to make tissue pomanders during our daughter’s 1st
birthday party and I also want to share it with you.
What you will need :
tissue paper
scissors
5″ Styrofoam balls
Hot glue
scissors
5″ Styrofoam balls
Hot glue
Wire
Step by Step Guide in Making Pomanders :
Cut
each tissue into 5 x 7 inches rectangular.
Stack
3 sheets of tissue paper and accordion fold them all the way up.
Fold
the wire over the middle and twist.
Cut
the corners of the tissue paper into round.
I left an extra ½ inch of wire because that’s what you have to attach in
the Styrofoam ball.
Start
pulling the tissue sheets up one at a time.
You’ll have to pull it left and right and continue until all the
tissue’s pulled up.
Now
you have a tissue flower.
Stick
the wire under the flower in the ball.
Continue placing tissue flowers until the ball is

Tips :
You can try two colors in one pomander.
I tried green and yellow. Or you
can try more than two colors, if you want.
You can also try a different size of Styrofoam ball if you like a small
or big pomander.
With this same process, you can also make tissue wreaths. Materials are always available at any craft
store.
